Youth Camps

Christian youth camps are an excellent way to build relationships with children.  In Nicargua many of the kids live under extreme poverty.  The camp experience gives us a chance to take kids to a special place where food, beds, and fun are a foundation for discipleship and the sharing of Christ’s love.  In the past there have been incredible blessings poured out during a week at camp. Mission teams often prepare for camp and bring the blessing down with them, however we are able to host camps with our Nicaraguan counterparts here as well.  The focus of the camp experience is Jesus Christ. We aim to teach through art, activities, and fun, that Jesus Christ is the way to lasting joy.

The cost of camps varies as we have worked with several here in Nicaragua.  We have day camp options which can be sponsored by teams or individuals, as well as 3 day camp options.  You can structure a youth camp into your mission trip if you feel like this is something that would work well with your vision.  Scheduling camps can be a little bit tricky, so please let us know if you think you’d like to get on the calendar.  Because camps have proven to be so effective, and there are only a couple of really nice options we like to plan ahead as much as possible.
