Vision & Mission

Our Vision & Mission

God has given us a wonderful gift in working with children and helping to raise a Godly generation.  In Nicaragua as well as other places all over the world there are great physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.  We operate out of the abundance of Christs love for these children, and know that by no power of our own are we able to accomplish anything (John 15:6).

Vision Statement:

Building faithful ministries that engage the world through relationships where every partnership exists to advance the Kingdom of God and witness to His glory in Jesus Christ by the power of The Holy Spirit.

Mission Statement:

Empowering and Transforming lives by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Discipleship and Missions.

Our Core Values:

Relational Living- God established His kingdom in a way that emphasizes human relationship and vulnerability. Our Lord spent much of His earthly ministry in intimate relationship with His disciples. We believe that discipleship is best lived out in close relationship to our fellow heirs of the Kingdom of God.

Biblical World-View- The Imagine Ministry strongly acknowledges that in every ministry context there are cultural distinctives, which inform an individuals world-view. Each of our ministry initiatives takes into consideration the best way to develop a biblical world-view in and through our efforts. The work of each ministry staff member or volunteer will be intentionally shaped with this value in mind.

Faithful Servant hood- Service to others is at the core of the Gospel message. Jesus Christ taught that we must live to serve rather than be served, becoming less that He might become more (Matthew 20:27-26), The Apostle Paul taught that we live as bondservants for the glory of Jesus Christ. The Imagine Ministry takes its model from God and embraces biblical servant hood.

Spiritual Formation- Though our ministry projects and partnerships often take center stage in the development of Kingdom work, we understand the first and greatest commandment to, ‘Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself’. With this in mind we consider spiritual formation and discipline to be the core of our ministry. Prayer, Fasting, Solitude, Worship, and ongoing obedience to God in the individual life of each believer allignes us with our true identity in Jesus Christ.

Discipleship- Drawing once again from Gods Word The Imagine Ministry adheres to a biblical standard of discipleship, which maintains that we are called to, “Shepherd the flock of God that is among us” (1 Peter 5:2). We also take Christian maturity into consideration when leading others in their faith journey. Paul worked to develop the believer and ensure that they were presented to Christ as mature followers.

Evangelism- Our ministry is conditioned to serve the physical needs of others, yet we see these as temporal needs while the eternal need of every human soul is to have a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Romans 10:14 tells us that in order to believe, they must first hear, and how can they hear without the preaching. We strongly hold that all ministry efforts must be interwoven with an evangelistic ministry and always give people the opportunity to hear the Gospel and invite them to respond to Gods call.
